The Eagles Foundation are thrilled to be teaming up with Wheelpower to offer Wheelchair rugby league at the upcoming Yorkshire Wheelchair Sports Festival.
To be held at Concord Sports Centre in Sheffield on 25th January from 9:30am till 3pm, there will be a number of different sports on offer for all above the age of five with a physical disability.
Of those sports, Wheelchair rugby league will be one and after its boom in popularity during and since the World Cup - the Foundation is excited to welcome more players to the sport.
Foundation Chair David Butler commented: “It’s great that we’re going to be at Concord Sports Centre for the Yorkshire Wheelchair Sports Festival,”
“The key to success and growth is to strike while the iron’s hot.
"Wheelchair rugby league has never been in such a strong position previously and we want to open the game up to everyone in Sheffield.
“As always, inclusivity is at the heart of the sport and that is the case for the Festival where those who are aged five and over, and with a physical disability, can take part.”
