Evan Hodgson signs new one-year deal with the Eagles

Evan Hodgson becomes the latest player to commit his future to the Sheffield Eagles as he agrees a new one-year deal with the club.

The forward originally joined the Eagles midway through the 2021 campaign following his departure from Newcastle Thunder, and he has gone on to make 85 appearances for Sheffield over the past four seasons.

Of those 85 appearances, 21 of those came last season in all competitions as he crossed for two tries against Doncaster RLFC and Wigan Warriors.

Hodgson becomes the third player to commit his future to the club for another year, following the announcements of Kris Welham and Connor Bower, which were announced last week.
