England international Luis Domingos joins our Wheelchair team

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the addition of England International Luis Domingos, who will join our Wheelchair Team for the upcoming 2026 Betfred Super League season.

He makes the move to the Eagles for the upcoming season after helping Castleford Tigers win the Championship Grand Final last year, a game in which he was named as Player of the Match against Rochdale Hornets.

The former Wheelchair Basketball player, who has played in the UK, Spain and Portugal, made the move back into Wheelchair Rugby League with Castleford Tigers in 2025, and became a big part of their side as he helped them win the Championship only one year after the Eagles achieved the same feat.

His impressive form last year saw him also earn a call-up to the England National Team, where he was part of the ten-player squad for the recent Ashes tour to Australia at the back end of last year.
