Eagles Women welcome Oulton to Steel City

Sheffield Eagles Women will play their part in the club’s quadruple-header on Sunday, hosting Oulton Raidettes at the Olympic Legacy Park in a 12.30pm kickoff.

The Eagles went down by eight points to Stanningley on home turf in the League Cup last time out but will take confidence from a gutsy, determined performance.

Meanwhile, Oulton come to Sheffield just two points behind Liam Browne’s side but with three games in hand.

The Raidettes were Championship Grand Final winners last term, rejecting promotion due to future RFL requirements.

Sheffield are suffering with somewhat of an injury crisis currently and will be without the likes of captain Sarah Palmer, Lisa Parker, Capucine Auger, Danie Green and Agnes Wood.
