Eagles Women travel to Lionesses den

Sheffield Eagles Women get back into action after a three-week break as they travel to Heywood Road as part of a Swinton double-header.

The Lionesses play Eagles Women at 12pm before Swinton Lions take on Keighley Cougars in the Betfred Championship at 3pm.

Sheffield’s last game was a convincing home victory over Hull FC at the Olympic Legacy Park on Sunday 16th July.

It will be a match those in attendance will remember as the day history was made, with Agnes Wood scoring six tries - a new club record.

This Sunday will see the return of Lisa Parker and Sarah Palmer in the halves while forwards Simone Saunders and Danie Green will bolster the pack.
