Eagles Women to face Nottingham Outlaws in friendly
05/05/2022
For their second game of the season, Sheffield Eagles Women will play Nottingham Outlaws in a friendly, kicking off at 1pm this Sunday, 8th May, at Mosborough Miners Welfare.
After victory in their debut game against Wigan St Patricks, the Eagles will play Nottingham Outlaws in a friendly at home this weekend.
Nottingham Outlaws are yet to play a game this season, so with an unknown opponent the Eagles will focus on putting their learnings from their last match into practice.
Head Coach Liam Browne commented: ”We're looking forward to the challenge that Nottingham will bring,”
“It’ll be a different intensity compared to our previous match.
“I am excited to see some new players make their debut and to show how we've improved since Wigan."
With the luxury of a 22 player squad, the team will look to use interchanges to their advantage, as well as allowing players who are new to the sport to get some game time.
The following players will be making their Sheffield Eagles debut this week: Aiden Cottrell-Callbeck, Clara Reynolds, Hannah Crowe, Isobel Stevens, Kennedy Nuttall and Nell Coclough.
