Eagles Foundation launch Physical Disability Rugby League
16/06/2023
Physical Disability Rugby League will come to Sheffield’s Olympic Legacy Park from Friday 30th June between 6pm and 7pm.
It is open to anyone of any age, gender or rugby experience with a physical disability.
The best thing about it all.. there is no cost to play!
Turn up, join in and enjoy an amazingly inclusive sport at the home of Sheffield Eagles.
PDRL was initially founded in Australia before making its way over to these shores in 2018, with Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves being the pioneers for the discipline.
It has received a burst of life in recent years with popularity soaring during the recent Rugby League World Cup and supporters such as presenter Adam Hills, a keen player of PDRL himself.
