Eagles become RLWC2021 Hospitality Sales Provider
Sheffield Eagles are proud to announce it has become an ‘Authorised Sales Provider’ for the Rugby League World Cup 2021.
The agreement sees the Eagles become the first club announced as an Authorised Sales Provider, which will see us sell Hospitality on behalf of the tournament organisers.
With England taking on Greece at Bramall Lane and Wheelchair World Cup action, including the Semi-Finals, coming to the English Institute of Sport, the Eagles - as well as our city partners - are fully getting behind RLWC2021.
Speaking of the news, Eagles General Manager Liam Claffey said: “It’s great to announce that we have become an Authorised Sales Provider for RLWC2021 Hospitality,
“The move will benefit the club financially and will ensure that those wishing to watch the action in style, can do so through ourselves.
The move is just one of many initiatives the club have in the pipeline as the tournament edges ever closer.
Claffey added: “We are working with our partners in the City & The RFL with regards to a Development post which we hope to update everyone on very soon,”
“That will be hugely exciting for the sport as a whole in Sheffield which will ensure a lasting legacy is left following the tournament and I can’t stress how pivotal that is for rugby league here.”
Further exciting news and developments surrounding RLWC2021 will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
