Eagles announce Stride as 2026 LDRL title sponsor

The Eagles Foundation and Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce Stride as the new Title Sponsor of our Learning Disability Team for the 2026 season.

The Doncaster-based organisation, established in 2022, is a specialist organisation dedicated to supporting adults with learning and social disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives. With the understanding that independence means different things to different people, Stride provides fully bespoke support plans tailored to individual needs.

Their key areas of focus include employment, education, mental and physical health, money management, communication and social skills, and independent travel.

Eagles Foundation Development Manager Andrea Dobson M.B.E, said, “It’s enormous for us that we have them on board with us for the 2026 season.

“They’re a relevant service who do some brilliant work to help support adults, and I think we can get lots of benefits both ways for both our participants, as well as their service users.

“We’re big on everything away from rugby league too, about how can we add value to people’s everyday life, so for us they’re the perfect company to partner with, and we’re really excited for this year.”

Logan Speight, Managing Director of Stride, added, “For me, sponsoring Sheffield Eagles’ Learning Disability Rugby League team is important to our cause, we support neurodivergent adults by supporting them to help make them feel more comfortable, to help them develop the skills to help them navigate the world and to get into employment.
