Double Header of Wheelchair Rugby League Action This Saturday

The Eagles are back in action with a thrilling double header of Wheelchair Rugby League this Saturday at the English Institute of Sport, as we welcome Castleford Tigers for an exciting afternoon of competition.

The day kicks off at 11:45am with our first team taking to the court, followed by our second team clash at 1:45pm.

Head Coach Greg Brown will use the occasion to rotate his squads and provide valuable game time to a range of players.

Leah Steel, who also plays for our Women’s team, is included too, and she will make her debut for our Wheelchair team this weekend.

The Eagles will be missing several key players this weekend, with the likes of Joe Wink-Simmonds, Ben Simpson, and Martin Lane all unavailable. Chris Haynes will also be absent as he represents the England National Performance Squad.
