Speaking of the announcement, Eagles General Manager Liam Claffey said, "We'd like to thank Workington Town for their understanding in hosting the game outside of Sheffield and for Carl Hall and the team at Doncaster for their assistance.
"The Keepmoat Stadium is a fantastic facility which is shown by it hosting three matches at next year's Rugby League World Cup and our supporters will hopefully be familiar with the surrondings following the club's season at the stadium in 2015.
"The club can't hide the fact it is disappointing that we are having to play outside the City and three games into the 2020 season we will have played at three different venues.
"We recognised the growing frustrations surrounding this from our supporters, sponsors and partners.
"Hard work is being done behind the scenes to resolve this and hope to have clearer answers on this in the coming weeks.
"Our plans to return to Sheffield from May onwards remain unchanged and with a reduction in ticket prices and subsidised coach travel hope to see supporters get behind the squad as we look to make it through to next round of the Cup!"
