Challenge Cup game against Warrington reversed

We can confirm that our Betfred Challenge Cup 3rd Round clash against Warrington Wolves has been reversed and will now take place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday 6th February (7:30pm KO).

The decision to revert the game to the Halliwell Jones Stadium offers financial benefits for both clubs and allows for a larger crowd, with the two sides set to meet for the first time since the 1999 Super League season.

The Eagles booked their place in the next round of the competition after securing an 18-6 victory over Whitehaven on Sunday afternoon at the Steel City Stadium and will now travel across to Cheshire in less than two weeks’ time to face last year’s finalists in the competition.
