Caitlin Washington joins our Women's team for 2026

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the addition of Caitlin Washington, who joins our Women’s team for the upcoming 2026 season.

The utility player joins the Eagles from Salford Red Devils, who she turned out for in the Championship last season.

Formerly also of Sheffield Tigers in rugby union, she is another new addition who will add more strength and depth to the Eagles’ Women’s team in 2026.

Speaking on joining the Eagles, Caitlin said, “I’m really excited to be joining the Eagles. The culture at the club is great and it’s looking like we will have a really talented squad, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do this season.”
