Brad Martin joins on loan from Leigh Leopards

Sheffield Eagles are pleased to announce the loan signing of Brad Martin from Leigh Leopards until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old joined Leigh ahead of this season following a four-year spell at Castleford Tigers, and he’ll look to bring valuable Betfred Super League experience to the Eagles squad for the rest of the year.

Capable of playing in both the front and back row, Martin recently completed a one-month loan spell with Batley Bulldogs, where he scored three tries in as many games for the West Yorkshire outfit.

He reunites with Sheffield Eagles Head Coach Craig Lingard, whom he previously played under last year at Castleford, and he will now go into contention for the team’s Good Friday fixture against Doncaster in the Betfred Championship.

The club welcomes Brad to South Yorkshire, and we look forward to seeing him in action in the red and gold.
