BJB extends Steel City stint

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the re-signing of winger Ben Jones-Bishop on a one-year deal.
Signed from York following the end of the 2021 season, Jamaican international Jones-Bishop has had a brilliant debut term in Red and Gold - scoring 23 tries in 28 appearances in all competitions.
It is his joint-best try tally for a season, matching his 2012 campaign with Leeds Rhinos.
Commenting on Jones-Bishop’s contract extension, Director of Rugby Mark Aston said: “It is great to tie down Bish for another year,”
“He has been outstanding this year, a model professional who has really upped our standards after a disappointing 2021 for the club.
“With a World Cup on its way, we’re all looking forward to him playing for Jamaica and coming back to us full of confidence in pre-season.”
