Sheffield Eagles winger Billy Walkley has been named in Paul Berry’s 39-player Wales squad ahead of the upcoming autumn international programme.

Walkley has enjoyed an outstanding season with the Eagles, finishing as the club’s leading try-scorer with an impressive 27 tries. His performances were recognised at the end-of-season awards, where he was named the Eagles’ Young Player of the Year.

He already has five senior caps for Wales, having made his international debut in 2024 during a 22-16 victory over Jamaica.

Wales’ 39-player squad will be split between the senior side and Wales A, with the first team set to feature in three internationals during the autumn.

The first confirmed fixture will see Wales take on the USA at The Wern in Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday, October 17 (3pm KO).

Everyone at Sheffield Eagles would like to congratulate Billy on his international selection and wish him the very best of luck with Wales during the upcoming autumn programme.
