Amy Boardman joins our Women's Team

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the signing of forward Amy Boardman, who will join our Women’s team for the 2026 season.

The former Wigan Warriors, Bradford Bulls and Warrington Wolves player makes the move to South Yorkshire from Halifax Panthers, where she captained their side last year and was named as their Player of the Year.

She has also previously co-captained the GB Teachers team alongside fellow Eagles Women’s player Alisha Clayton.

Speaking after signing for the Eagles, Amy said, “I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to be playing with Sheffield this year.

“After having conversations with Andrea and talking about the ambitions of the club and how they support the women’s game, I am really pleased to have signed and I’m looking forward the upcoming season.”
