Sheffield Eagles

The Eagle-etts

The Eagle-etts are Sheffield Eagles Official Cheerleaders and perform at every home game.

The team were set up in 1997 by Dawn Aston and originally comprised of six girls who had been avid Eagles fans. Over the years the group developed into a popular dance team at Sheffield Eagles matches. In 2001 Julie Goosey took over the group and oversaw its change into a cheerleading/pom dance team.
Each year the group develop their stunts and hope by next year to focus more on cheerleading than pom dance.

The Eagle-etts squad currently consists of 20 girls from 6+, who train at Sheffield Springs Academy for one hour on Wednesday nights.
