Eagles announce departures

Sheffield Eagles can confirm eight departures from the 2023 squad, as announced initially at the Awards Night.

Josh Guzdek, Ross Oakes, Liam Kirk, Mikey Wood, Brandon Douglas, Matty Chrimes, Ben Sheils and Jason Bass will all be moving on to pastures new ahead of the 2024 season.

The club would like to thank every player for their contribution over the years.

Director of Rugby Mark Aston commented: “These players have been a part of our rebuild as we finally came back to the Steel City, at long last,”
