Dewsbury opened the scoring with Jon Molly taking an offload in front of the posts from Bobbie Goulding who added the goal.

Tries from centre Scott Hale and hooker Adam O’Brien increased the lead with Goulding adding a goal.

Eagles came back seven minutes from half-time with Michael Knowles taking a Dominic Brambani kick one handed to score. Brambani added the goal and added a penalty in the final minute to cut Rams lead to 16-8

On 52 minutes Peter Green forced his way through under the posts. Brambani added the goal to cut the margin to two points.

Knowles got the crucial try on 71 minutes taking a Brambani cross-field high kick. Winger Scot Turner seal the win two minutes from time with Brambani kicking all five goals.
