Cracking comeback from the Eagles, time just ran out. A big big rap for the forwards who held there own against a tough Halifax forward pack which included Big Frank Watene. Jonny Woodcock looking good, he took some enormous hits but shrugged them off and got on with it. Halifax racked up a 20-4 lead in the first half hour. Eagles recovered to gain the lead after 49 minutes, 22-20 but a try from Josh Barlow put Halifax back in front. The last 25 minutes were scoreless.
