Eagles reach 1,000 Junior Season Tickets

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce that we have reached 1,000 junior season tickets following the inauguration of our Kids Free Season Ticket offer. This offer has been aimed at giving the youth of South Yorkshire the opportunity to watch professional sport for free in the midst of an Olympic year. We are delighted to see such a big increase in the numbers interested in Rugby League in South Yorkshire and hope to continue this pattern of growth as the season progresses. We have also achieved a 15% increase on our adult season ticket figures which reiterates the current pattern of growth taking shape at Sheffield Eagles. This has been reflected in the attendance figure at our first home league game which reached 1,850.

We have had a fantastic response to this initiative from the youth of Sheffield, having visited many schools and clubs in the promotion of this opportunity. Misi Taulapapa and Tim Bergin have visited many senior schools speaking about determination and success and their importance in achieving ones goals. Sheffield Eagles have also combined this offer with a free Fans Pack, which the individual is entitled to once they have signed up for their season ticket.

This pack includes a Sheffield Eagles wristband (designed by Samoan International Misi Taulapapa), a Sheffield Eagles car sticker, a fixture list and club information, travel information for both Don Valley Stadium and Bramall Lane, a free skate or swim voucher from SIV, and 4 50% off vouchers for adult tickets. This is the perfect starter pack to get anyone hooked on the Eagles and even includes adult vouchers to ensure that the parents don’t have to miss any of the action.
