Dane Chisholm released with immediate effect
Sheffield Eagles can confirm Dane Chisholm has left the club with immediate effect, joining fellow Championship club Bradford Bulls.
The two clubs have agreed a transfer fee for the player which resulted in him being released by Sheffield earlier today (Wednesday 24th May) and taking up a contract with the Bulls.
As part of a wider agreement, the two clubs will also partake in a pre-season friendly fixture at Odsal ahead of the 2018 season, details of which will be announced later in the year.
Eagles General Manager Liam Claffey said, “A satisfactory resolution has been reached for all parties.”
“The substantial transfer fee along with Dane being released, frees up funds to allow Mark Aston to bring in potential new recruits who want to be part of Sheffield Eagles.”
Dane Chisholm will be available to play against Sheffield Eagles, should the clubs face each other again during the 2017 season.
